Lukashenko sends condolences to Pakistan's president over terrorist attack

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a message of condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi in connection with the terrorist attack in the city of Khar, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“It was with great sadness that Belarus learned of the tragedy in Khar that killed and injured many civilians. Our country strongly condemns any form and manifestation of terrorism and extremism. The inhuman act in Khar in the run-up to the general elections is an attack on international foundations of democracy,” stressed Aleksandr Lukashenko.

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the head of state expressed sincere condolences to the president and all the people of Pakistan, sent words of support and sympathy to those who lost their loved ones as a result of this terrible crime, and also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
