The Belarusian parade formation has already arrived in the Russian capital to prepare for the solemn event. The first formation rehearsal is expected to take place on 29 April.

Before departure, Deputy Defence Minister of Belarus Alexander Naumenko and commander of the SDF Vadim Denisenko conducted a readiness inspection of the servicemen, who will be dressed in a new parade uniform, specially designed for participation in the parade.

Earlier it was reported that 80 Belarusian SDF soldiers would take part in the parade. A distinctive feature of the new uniform will be the replacement of the traditional blue beret with a cap and combat boots with shoes.
