Victory Day parade rehearsals scheduled for 2, 6 May in Minsk

9 May parade rehearsals will be held in Minsk on 2 and 6 May, Lieutenant Colonel Denis Bilman, commander of the commandant battalion of the Minsk military commandant's office, said in a new episode of BelTA’s Nation Speaks project.

“It always arouses interest in Minsk residents and visitors. There are no cordons there, and people can come and watch a rehearsal of the military parade. It will be possible to watch parade rehearsals on 2 and 6 May at 22.00. The rehearsal will start from the intersection of Pobeditelei Avenue and Masherova Avenue,” he said.

The parade will feature more than 4,000 people from all military departments and structures of Belarus. More than 220 units of military hardware and more than 30 units of aviation equipment will be on display. “Over 4,000 will march along the avenue. More than 1,000 people will be involved in the organization of the military parade, including regulation issues, traffic safety, communications, medical, and logistical support,” Denis Bilman emphasized.
