On September 23, a requiem concert "Every Third" will be held in the Great Hall of the State Kremlin Palace, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Post Committee of the Union State reported.

The Requiem concert was created on the initiative of Musical Media Company LLC. The screening in Moscow will be implemented with the support of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Ministries of Culture of Belarus and Russia, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus and the Rosconcert company.
The requiem concert "Every Third" is a tribute to all the victims and heroes of the Great Patriotic War, a story about the fate of ordinary people, a synthesis of widely known musical works of the Soviet period and modern songs about war and Victory, rare chronicle footage, photographic documents, historical facts and new updated official statistics.
The poetic basis of the concert is "Requiem for every Fourth" by Anatoly Vertinsky. For a long time it was believed that during the Great Patriotic War the Belarusian land lost every fourth inhabitant. However, the data updated in recent years shows that one in three died. These are more than three million civilians and prisoners of war...
The concert will feature musical compositions performed by the most famous artists and creative groups of the Republic of Belarus.
