The 4th Minsk International Circus Arts Festival brought together performers from 21 countries

As Vladimir Shaban, Director of the Belarusian State Circus, noted, the geographical range of participants has expanded significantly this year. Performers from 21 countries presented their acts on stage. "About 120 artists are taking part in the program. We conducted a selection process to ensure the audience sees circus acts that are truly engaging," the director said.

Acts from Belarus, Russia, China, France, Spain, Italy, Israel, North Korea, Mexico, Belgium, the USA, Germany, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Tanzania, Angola, Colombia, and Romania were presented in the Belarusian State Circus arena.

Renowned producers, directors, and circus managers from the circus world were invited to the Belarusian State Circus to serve as jury members and guests of honor. The artists performed as part of programs "A" and "B." Tomorrow, the jury will select the participants for the gala concert, which is scheduled for Sunday, September 20.

"The festival is the quintessence of the global circus world," said Maxim Nikulin, General Director and Artistic Director of the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. "For the audience, it is a celebration – a chance to experience the magic of the circus. For the performers, it is an opportunity to showcase their talents and compete," he noted. He added that the festival also serves as a meeting point for different cultures: "The more we know about one another, the stronger our friendships will be."

Today, as part of Program A, the "Triple-T" diabolo trio from Malaysia performed their act, while Russian artist Nadezhda Bezmaternykh showcased her balancing skills on a rotating pedestal. They were followed by aerial strap artists Yerkinbek Gabiden and Natalia Rumyantseva (Duo "Love Story") from Kazakhstan, Yuliy Yakubovsky from Russia with a comic animal training act, the "Highflyers" teeterboard troupe from Hungary, and the "Bahati" rola-bola act from Tanzania. Gleb and Elina Kazlenko from Belarus performed aerial chain gymnastics, and "Fiesta Latina" from Colombia demonstrated their tightrope walking skills.

The second act featured the major tiger performance "Italian Legend," a pole-dance aerial act by Ekaterina Grosu (Romania), an equilibrist act on Rola-Bola boards by Alberto Segura (Spain), and many others.

From September 26 to November 29, the Belarusian State Circus will present the program "Circus Continents." The show will feature prize-winners from the 4th Minsk International Circus Arts Festival. As the director of the Belarusian State Circus noted, the festival performers will showcase not only unique stunts but also the spirit and traditions of various continents.
