Survey: Three-quarters of Russians consider Belarus most successful state in CIS

Three-quarters of Russians (75%) consider Belarus the most successful country in the CIS, BelTA learned from a report published on the website of Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM).

The center presented the results of a study on how Russian society perceives the success and reliability of post-Soviet states.


According to the survey, Belarus maintains its status as the absolute leader in terms of success and reliability as a partner.


“Three‑quarters of Russians (75%) consider it the most successful country in the region, and 83% describe it as a reliable partner on the international stage. Over the past ten years, these indicators have shown steady growth (by 7 and 17 percentage points respectively). This momentum is undoubtedly driven by deep economic integration within the Union State, joint import-substitution projects, and a unified transport and energy space,” the report says.
