Popular among Russians destinations of New Year tours to Belarus in 2024 have become known, reports BelTA, referring to the press service of the Russian Union of Travel Industry.

According to information from the National tour operator Alean, which is a member of the Union, the demand for health resorts in Belarus has increased by 23% compared to last year, while the demand for hotels - by 28%. Excursion tours are the most popular for winter vacations, accounting for about 31% of the total volume of bookings for the holidays. The tour “New Year's Journey to Minsk”, planned from December 31 to January 2, is in particularly high demand among tourists.

The demand for tours to Belarus in the autumn period has also increased. By the end of September this year, the number of reservations of health resorts increased by 25%, hotels in Minsk - by 72%, and sightseeing tours around the country - by 55%.

“A number of health resorts in October are already fully filled. But in general, there is no shortage of places in resorts until the end of autumn. The average duration of a tour in health resorts is 10-12 days. The most popular excursion tours are programs of 5-7 days duration, including several cities: Minsk, Mir, Nesvizh, Brest, Grodno, Lida and others. As last year, bus tours from Moscow are actively booked,” said the press service.

Tourists are available both short tours for 2-3 days and longer tours for 5-7 days. Prices for them range from 26 to more than 71 thousand Russian rubles for two people, not including the cost of railway tickets. It is also noted that the prices for sightseeing tours have increased by 5-10% compared to last year.
