12:43, 19 August

An exhibition of works by the winners of the republican bakers' competition, a tasting of a five-meter plait, the "Belovezhsky Run", an exhibition of plein-air artists, a playground and concerts by Belarusian and Russian artists non-stop on the main stage - that's not all that surprises the Batskava Bun loaf fest in Svisloch today, BelTA has learned.

Consumer operators from all regions of Belarus presented their best bakery products here. The works of the winners of the bakers' competition, which took place in Grodno the day before, are presented at the exhibition "Batskayshyna: Mir. Dabrabyt. Gaspadar." There are many thematic works in the tents of guests from the regions dedicated to the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders, the prosperity of our peaceful country during the three decades of the presidency. There are many different pies: multi-tiered, unusual shapes, with intricate decorations that delight both the eye and the stomach. According to the participants of the festival, who came from other regions, this holiday is not only delicious, but also useful for professionals. Everyone has already looked at what the neighbors brought, found out and wrote down the recipes and photographed the best copies. And this will only enrich the bread stalls in all corners of the country.
