More than 15,000 people from over 40 countries, including 70 regions of Russia, visited the second International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. Belarus in Minsk over its three days, on 30 September and 1 and 2 October. The organizers have summed up the results, BelTA reports.

More than 160 enterprises and organizations took part on the Belarusian side. Among them are BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, Integral, Horizont, Energocomplekt, Mogilevliftmash, BKM Holding and others.

The Belarus pavilion showcased modern equipment and technological developments reflecting the broad expertise of Belarusian industry. In particular, a model of a MAZ gas chassis was presented, with a 6x6 wheel configuration and an engine running on compressed natural gas.

It is designed as a base for building vehicles for various purposes for use on public roads and off-road. Among the technological novelties is the high-capacity BELARUS 5425 tractor with 542 hp, one of the most powerful tractors in the world in its category.

Remote equipment control solutions received separate attention: high-ranking guests were shown an interactive driver-operator workstation with a remote control system that provides a direct communication channel and enables real remote control of a BelAZ quarry dump truck.

Also among the innovative developments presented were a prototype unmanned helicopter with optional piloting capability, the FLY-TRUCK, and a system for applying crop protection products, the SKY AGRO X2 from the Unmanned Helicopters Design Bureau. Integral’s advanced developments were on display as well.

A collective section of scientific and technical developments was also featured at the exhibition. According to the press service of the State Committee on Science and Technology, the collective exposition was mounted by institutions of the Education Ministry, innovation infrastructure entities and organizations of the State Committee on Science and Technology. They showcased their work through full-scale samples, models, and multimedia and promotional presentations. The areas on display included metalworking and cutting tools; industrial alloys and products based on them; equipment and technologies for processing mineral raw materials; functional materials for high-tech fields; mechanical engineering and instrument-making; industrial automation; and metrology.

Among the key developments is a robotic complex for operator-free sale of goods, which is Belarus’ first fully automated retail solution, designed for identification, storage, internal movement, assembly and dispensing of goods to the buyer automatically after an order is formed and paid for. It allows round-the-clock sale of goods weighing from 1 g to 5 kg using combined tooling.

The stand also featured a modular interactive software and hardware complex called “Training of Specialists, Occupational Safety: Welding Operations.” It is designed to develop, practice and objectively assess practical skills in electric arc welding in a virtual environment, using visualization tools, specialized controllers and full-scale mock-ups of workpieces. In addition, the stand displayed a mobile diesel power plant for autonomous and backup power supply to facilities, along with electric charging stations.

The Russian exposition featured a collective stand of Russian industrial solutions organized by the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry (30 companies displaying about 100 exhibits), as well as stands of 17 regions of Russia and a number of companies, including Rostec, Rosatom, the Russian Export Center, TMH, KAMAZ, ASCON, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works and Callisto Vision. In addition, the national expositions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Iran and Cambodia featured 60 organizations.

One of the key events of the INNOPROM. Belarus expo was the visit by heads of government, who toured the exposition and spoke at the plenary session “Production and Technological Cooperation: Complementary Partnership.” Innovative approaches to industrial development, mechanisms for integrating production chains and the creation of conditions for launching joint high-tech projects were discussed.

The exhibition delivered practical results: a number of agreements and other documents were signed to develop industrial, technological and investment cooperation. One agreement established a long-term partnership to comprehensively digitalize design and technological preparation of production and engineering information management at Gomselmash, based on Russian engineering software from ASCON. At the Samara Oblast stand, an action plan for 2027-2029 was signed to implement the Belarus-Samara Oblast agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, social, cultural and humanitarian areas.
Other deals included a strategic partnership agreement between CEPR and the Belarusian company Sitek MT under the interstate project “Union State Machine Tool,” and a trilateral cooperation agreement involving Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant and MAZ.

The international series of industrial exhibitions INNOPROM was held from February to October in five countries: Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Russia, India and Belarus. The first INNOPROM of 2027 will take place in Uzbekistan in April.
