More than 6.52m Belarusians fully vaccinated against COVID-19

More than 6.624 million people in Belarus have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 6.520 million have completed the vaccination regimen, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Over 902,600 people completed the vaccination regimen in Brest Oblast, over 799,800 in Vitebsk Oblast, over 989,200 in Gomel Oblast, over 703,300 in Grodno Oblast, about 1 million in Minsk Oblast, over 696,800 in Mogilev Oblast, and over 1.314 million in the city of Minsk.

More than 114,300 employees of organizations and institutions have completed the vaccination process.

More than 227,800 children and teenagers aged 5-17 have received one shot of the vaccine, of them more than 207,200 have been fully vaccinated.

Thus, 71.6% of the country's population have received one dose of the vaccine, 70.4% have been fully vaccinated.

Belarusians are also getting booster shots of the vaccine, with 60% of the population having received them so far.
