Minsk to host Orthodox family forum on 11-12 October

10:27, 6 October

The House of Happiness family forum will be held at the Kovcheg Cultural, Spiritual, and Educational Center in Minsk on 11-12 October, BelTA reports, citing the official website of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.

The Orthodox family forum is being held as part of Parental Love Week, a cherished tradition in Belarus. “Our goal is to see more happy families across the nation. While every family encounters challenges, this forum offers a unique opportunity to connect with priests, public figures, and family experts who can provide guidance and solutions. The family is a small church – the very cradle of true happiness,” the organizers said.

The program includes meetings with priests, family therapists, parents of large families, and public figures, a concert, quizzes, master classes, exhibitions, and a cozy café with a lunch menu and homemade desserts.

The forum aims to promote Orthodox family traditions and provide a space for all to discover a deeper understanding of family and its vital role in life. It was organized by the Synodal Missionary Department of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, the parish of the Church of St. Anastasia the Deliverer from Potions in Minsk, and other partners.
