Minsk National Airport named CIS Best Airport 2024

Minsk National Airport won the CIS Best Airport 2024 award, BelTA learned from the airport's press service.

The contest among CIS airports is held annually by the Airport Association of CIS Civil Aviation. Minsk National Airport joined the association in 1997. The association held its annual meeting in Moscow to review the performance in 2024 and honor the winners. During the meeting, Director General of Minsk National Airport Vladimir Chereukhin was elected Vice President of the association.

The airports are evaluated based on improvements in route networks, enhancement of passenger service quality, modernization of infrastructure, flight safety and passenger comfort.

The Airport Association of CIS Civil Aviation was founded on 18 December 1990. It is a non-government, non-for-profit organization set up to coordinate the activity of its members, expand their business opportunities, represent and protect their interests.
