Lukashenko sends greetings to Internal Troops

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired employees of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the founding day of the troops, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, the Internal Troops are a highly professional military organization that continues the traditions and best practices of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the war in Afghanistan. This organization is able to fully maintain law and order, preserve peace and calm in the country.

“Being part and parcel of the national security system, even in a constantly changing operational environment, you have always proved that you can effectively fulfill the most complex service and combat tasks. You are an example of true courage, perseverance, loyalty to the oath. I am convinced that you will keep it up in the future,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The president thanked active and retired employees of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their devotion to the country and people and wished them good health, happiness, well-being and new successes in the noble service to their homeland.
