Lukashenko: National prosperity of the Belarusian people rests on women's striving for creation

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended Women's Day greetings to all Belarusian women on 8 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“We always meet the long-awaited spring, admiring the spiritual beauty, charm and wisdom of our dear women. Thanks to your responsive hearts and tender care, you preserve the belief in the sanctity of maternity and the strength of the family hearth,” the message of greetings runs.

The head of state emphasized that at all times peace in the native land, national wellbeing and dignity of the Belarusian people have rested on the women's aspiration for creation, their ability to love and inspire men for heroic deeds, to bring up children to respect the Homeland.

“Realizing your talents and professional skills in a variety of public and state activities, you remain faithful to the traditional values, families and the main purpose - to continue life on Earth and make the world a better place. Thank you for that,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko in his message of greetings.

The president wished all women strong health, happiness, joy and cheerful mood.
