Lukashenko expresses condolences to people of Afghanistan over earthquake victims

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended condolences to the people of Afghanistan following the devastating earthquake in Kunar province that resulted in significant loss of life, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that it was with deep sorrow that Belarus learned the news of the earthquake in Kunar province, which claimed many lives.

“On behalf of the Belarusian people and myself, I express my sincere condolences to all those affected by this tragedy. I wish for the swift rescue of those missing, a speedy recovery to the injured, and strength and courage to all those involved in search and rescue operations and in rebuilding the country after the consequences of this natural disaster,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
