Lukashenko congratulates President of Ghana on Independence Day

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama and all the residents of this country on Independence Day, reports the press service of the head of state.

‘The Republic of Ghana demonstrates steady progress in socio-economic development and enjoys authority in the international arena,’ the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state stressed that Belarus pays great attention to strengthening the Belarusian-Ghana friendship and notes the untapped potential of cooperation in trade, economic, political, humanitarian and other areas.

‘We can offer Ghana our successful experience and accumulated competences in mechanisation of agriculture, supply of food, medical drugs and equipment, fertilisers, personnel training,’ the President said. - I confirm my invitation to you to visit the Republic of Belarus to discuss ways of expanding our relations and possibilities of implementing new projects,’ the President said.

Alexander Lukashenko wished John Dramani Mahama excellent health and success in fulfilling his responsible state mission, and the people of Ghana unity and prosperity.
