Library Night 2025 to kick off in Belarus on 25 April

Libraries across Belarus will join the Library Night 2025 campaign on 25 April, the public relations department of the National Library of Belarus told BelTA.

Visitors will enjoy themed zones, lectures, workshops, excursions, games and meet-and-greets. The event will center on the theme "Victory. Memory. Peace." Visitors will immerse themselves in the history of wartime years through projects commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War by the Belarusian Union of Journalists. They will also participate in interactive programs by the Patriots of Belarus organization and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and a patriotic Dedicated to Victorious May campaign by the National School of Beauty. Additionally, quests and a patriotic game will be available for visitors.
The atmosphere of 1945 dance evenings will transport visitors back to the days of triumph, while the Ballad of a Soldier music and poetry program by the chamber theater ensemble Amadeus will show the importance of victory and preserving memory.
Young visitors can look forward to various workshops and an educational contest program "The Kind World of Wonderful Tales”. During Library Night, activity zones will be organized, which can be accessed using tokens earned through active participation in other events.
