"Belshina" will produce tires for electric vehicles

"Belshina" is developing tires for electric vehicles. This product is planned to be launched into serial production in February 2027. This information was shared with journalists by Yuri Rusetsky, Director of the Mass Tire Plant, according to a Soyuz.by correspondent.
NOTE: "Belshina" is one of the largest enterprises producing a wide range of tires (more than 360 models): for passenger cars, trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, road construction and lifting-transport machines, electric transport, buses, tractors and agricultural machines.

According to the director, the plant is constantly improving its structural characteristics. At present, work is underway on tires for electric vehicles. The product is planned to be launched into serial production by February 2027.
There are also plans to produce tires with diameters of 19 and 20 inches. "Principally, the optimal period for developing a tire and putting it into serial production is six months. This is the fastest option, however, for us this is a new topic," said Yuri Rusetsky.
In 2024, the enterprise's products were awarded the State Quality Mark - passenger tires 215/60R17 model BEL-402 96H, and 225/65R17 model BEL-411 102H.
"They have gained sufficient popularity among our consumers, both Belarusian and Russian. These tires are fitted on BELGEE vehicles," shared the director. At present, the plant has produced more than 210,000 BEL-411 models and more than 120,000 BEL-402 models.
