The Belarusian airline Belavia is working on launching a flight from Minsk to Russia’s Ufa, Vladimir Barkun, Belavia Deputy Director General for Marketing and Foreign Economic Activity, said in an interview to the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.

“In 2025, Belavia carried 955,000 passengers between Russia and Belarus, of which 95,000 were from regional airports. The flights are operating steadily and are in demand for both business and personal travel, as very close family and cultural ties have been established. Currently, the possibility of launching a flight to Ufa is being considered,” Vladimir Barkun said.

The air routes connect Russian cities not only with Minsk, but also with Gomel, Mogilev, and Brest. Flights to Murmansk and Makhachkala are added for the summer period.
