A delegation from Omsk Oblast headed by Governor Vitaliy Khotsenko paid a visit to Belarus in March 2024. The head of the Siberian region of Russia met with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and held talks with Minsk Oblast Governor Aleksandr Turchin. The parties discussed the opening of a multi-brand center of Belarusian machinery in Omsk. A lot of work was done to make this project a reality.
“I believe that the center on the basis of VelCom Holding is an example of how a multi-brand center should look like. I am very pleased, being on the Omsk land for the first time, to participate in such an event,” Minsk Oblast governor Aleksandr Turchin said.
According to him, the multi-brand center of Belarusian machinery on the basis of VelCom will contribute to further cooperation between the company and Belarusian manufacturers. “For my part, I can say that we will do our best to saturate the center with the equipment we produce, including samples, which are not present here yet, but will definitely be. This is the first such center in Russia. I hope such centers will be opened throughout the country,” Aleksandr Turchin said.
The governor of the Siberian region expressed his gratitude to the company for the timely opening of a modern multi-brand center of Belarusian machinery. “The multi-brand center VelCom displays a wide range of tractors, loaders and harvesters. Even if you come here just to take a look, you will definitely sign a contract,” he added.
