Customers numbers of Belarusian medical-focused health resorts will exceed 1,5 million in 2023, Director of the Belarusian national center of health resort treatment and recuperation Gennady Bolbatovsky told the media, BelTA has learned.

"The Belarusian medical-focused health resorts are wrapping up the outgoing year 2023 on a positive note. The year was a good one for us. Judging by the preliminary figures, we can say that the demand for this type of service has been steady. By the end of 2023, we will reach the largest number of people who have undergone treatment and rehabilitation in recent years. I think it will exceed Br1.5 million people. In terms of total revenue, we also have an increase of 25-30%. It will amount to about Br1.5 billion," Gennady Bolbatovsky said.

He noted that the same trend is observed in the export of services. "The figures for the number of foreign citizens will exceed last year's by about 15-20%. Revenue from the export of services will be up by 25-30% and will total about Br300 million. We are also doing very well in terms of infrastructure upgrade. More than Br109 million was invested in the infrastructure and purchase of equipment in January-September. This is twice as much as in the same period of last year. In 2022, this figure stood at Br98 million,"Gennady Bolbatovsky informed.
