Belarus sees 2.2m domestic tourists in 2025

In 2025, 2.2 million citizens of the Republic of Belarus traveled on organized tours within the country, with 93.8% of them taking part in one-day tourist trips (excursions), BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee (Belstat).

In 2025, 1,255 organizations in Belarus were engaged in tourism activities and excursion services. Their services were used by 3.5 million organized tourists and excursion participants, including 1 million tourists and 2.5 million excursionists.

In 2025, the number of organized tourists and excursionists, citizens of Belarus traveling abroad, amounted to 736,400 people, while the number of organized foreign tourists and excursionists visiting Belarus reached 579,200 people.

The average duration of a Belarusian citizen’s stay abroad in 2025 was 8 days, while the average stay of a foreign tourist in Belarus was 4 days.

In 2025, the country had 664 hotels and similar accommodation facilities, which served 2.7 million people, including 1.3 million Belarusian citizens.

Last year, 503 health resorts and other specialized accommodation facilities provided services to 1.1 million people, of whom 867,300 were Belarusian citizens.

According to the Belarusian Ministry of Taxes and Duties, in 2025 the number of agro-ecotourism entities reached 1,441, and their services were used by 472,500 people, including 449,500 citizens of Belarus.
