Belarus hosts over 25,000 visa-waiver travelers from Europe since 1 Jan 2026

Since 1 January 2026, Belarus has welcomed 25,111 travelers from 38 countries included in the visa-waiver program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.  

A total of 1,283,280 European residents have visited Belarus since 15 April 2022 when the visa waiver program was launched. Belarus has welcomed 671,245visitors from Lithuania, 412,026 people from Latvia and 138 091visitors from Poland. On 19 July 2024 the visa-waiver program was extended to include 35 more countries. A total of 61,918 citizens of these countries have visited Belarus.

The visa-waiver program for citizens of 38 European countries have been extended until 31 December 2026.
