Belarus’ First News TV Channel goes live

A new Belarus’ First News TV Channel has launched on channel 5, BelTA has learned.

“First News Channel is the first news channel in the history of national television. The service will broadcast news, including live and extensive coverage of key social and political events, a wide range of business and financial news, author's analytics.

According to head of Belteleradiocompany Ivan Eismont, the channel will air news every hour. “The channel comes live at a time when an array of important events are taking place both in the country and the world. With this very channel we do not have to wait until the next newscast, and we can go on air as soon as we get important news to report,” he said.

The new TV channel output will feature news of various format, including interviews, reports and many more.

The updated website of Belteleradiocompany news.by will be launched tomorrow. This is a brand new source that meets all modern standards: easy surfing, only the latest and most relevant news.
