Belarus’ clothes collection on display at Fashion Week in Yekaterinburg

Collaboration of brands from Belarus was showcased on the second day of the UF LAB International Fashion Week in Yekaterinburg. The show was held in the Yeltsin Center, BelTA has learned.

Famous Belarusian designer Tatyana Efremova (T.Efremova) and artist and sculptor Irina Rombalskaya (IRRA) teamed up to develop the collection. The models were based on corsets created by Irina Rombalskaya, which organically merged into the exclusive image.

As Irina Rombalskaya told journalists, the corsets were inspired by “the image of a perfect Slavic woman”. According to her, elements of the presented outfits can be integrated into everyday life.

Earlier, the collection was presented at Paris Fashion Week.

Designers from South Africa, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan also presented their collections during the evening show at the Yeltsin Center.

The International Fashion Week is taking place in Yekaterinburg on 19-23 August. According to the organizers, it bring together renowned leaders of the fashion industry and emerging designers from Russia and around the world, representatives of creative business, fashion marketing, federal and regional media on the creative platforms of the city.
