Avtokomponents Holding is implementing nine investment projects aimed at modernizing production facilities and expanding the range of products. This was announced by Oleg Chichin, Director of Industrial and Technical Policy and Development of JSC Borisov Plant of Automotive Electrical Equipment. Soyuz.by.

The holding unites 11 enterprises located in five regions of Belarus and produces a wide range of products, from lighting equipment to complex mechanical and hydraulic devices, electrical equipment and cable products. The holding's products are supplied to leading enterprises of the machine-building industry in Russia and Belarus. In 2024, the implementation of three projects included in the state program of innovative development was completed, with the development of investments worth more than Br77 million and the creation of 130 jobs.

"Currently, nine investment projects are being implemented, one of which is included in the state program of innovative development, and the other in the list of projects to create new industries that are crucial for innovative development. The projects are partially funded by a government loan from the Russian Federation. About 180 pieces of equipment have been purchased, and contracts have been signed for the supply of 30 more units. More than 30 jobs have been created," the speaker noted.

The plans include the implementation of five more investment projects with a total investment of about Br80 million. This will ensure the production of new high-tech, export-oriented and import-substituting components for automotive and agricultural machinery, such as steering mechanisms, starters, generators, anti-lock and braking systems, as well as directional stability systems. Modernization will also reduce the cost of production through the use of advanced technologies and resource savings.

Long-term cooperation programs with major consumers have been formed until 2027 and the procedure for the development of necessary products has been defined. Work is underway to diversify supplies and expand the range of products in demand for the assembly and repair of cars of various models.
