A special award from the Union State will be presented at the XXXI Listapad International Film Festival

This year, the Permanent Committee of the Union State has decided to establish a special prize of the Union State for contribution to the preservation of spiritual, moral, cultural and historical values within the framework of the Lisapad film festival. The State Secretary of the Union State, Sergey Glazyev, commented on what will be the main criterion for awarding this prize.

"The Union State Prize will be awarded based on the results of a competition that is based on the criteria of adherence to traditional values," said Sergey Glazyev. "I think this is a very significant and important symbolic event. Listapad is a well-known film festival not only in Belarus, but also in the CIS and beyond, where interesting and meaningful new films are showcased," said the State Secretary of the Union State. In his opinion, emphasizing traditional values is not just a matter of time, but an important "brick" in the common foundation of the Union State.
"This is important in terms of forming a common ideology, a common semantic space, and common values," Sergey Glazyev emphasized.
The XXXI Lisapad International Film Festival will close on November 7 at the Moscow Cinema in Minsk, where the Union State prize will be awarded.
