Magnetic storms are very frequent and health-threatening cosmic phenomena that occur due to solar flares. During such periods, weather-dependent people may feel unwell and weak. As reported by  glavred.info, at the end of February, experts predict a fairly strong magnetic storm that will last 4 days.

A little solar activity is expected on Sunday, February 20. Then a three-day magnetic storm will come a day later - from February 22 to 24. The strongest solar activity will be on February 23. In March, storms are currently expected on the 3rd, 4th, 11th and 12th. But the forecast for such a long period may change.

The influence of storms is felt most strongly by the elderly, pregnant women and those with chronic diseases. During the days of storms, various symptoms may occur, such as: headache, dizziness, nausea, back and lower back pain, high blood pressure, fatigue, insomnia or drowsiness, exacerbation of chronic diseases.

It is recommended to give up alcohol, caffeine and fatty foods – from everything that gives an increased load on the cardiovascular system. Also, "cores" should have a first-aid kit with drugs that can alleviate the condition in case of an exacerbation.

Special attention should be paid to maintaining water balance in the body – copious drinking, drinks without gas and sugar (herbal teas, pure water, unsweetened compotes and fruit drinks).

Do not neglect sleep hygiene as well, try not to break the regime. Before going to bed, it will be useful to ventilate the bedroom and do relaxing gymnastics or meditation.
