Belarus, Russia sign agreement on uniform rules of competition

Belarus and Russia signed an intergovernmental agreement on uniform rules of competition. The document was inked by Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Aleksei Bogdanov of Belarus and Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia Maksim Shaskolsky, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART).

"The agreement will create uniform rules of the game in the markets of the Union State. The antimonopoly authorities will jointly respond to anti-competitive practices and apply common approaches to their elimination," the press service explained.

The document has been drawn up with the aim of implementing the Union State program on uniform competition rules and harmonizing antimonopoly laws.
