Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Tatiana Kharlap as Head of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone Administration, BelTA has learned.

Until now, Tatiana Kharlap served as Consul General in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

“As for the Great Stone park, will you manage it? It won’t be easy there. The foundation is already in place, but every year you have to achive higher results,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said during the meeting to approve new appointments.

In turn, Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi stressed that Tatiana Kharlap was among those who originally created this project.

“I know all that. But she has worked as a consul,” Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.

Tatiana Kharlap assured that she would apply her accumulated experience in her new position as well.

“The main thing is that you know China. The park must continue its development. You’ll have to deliver results,” the president said.
