Streets closures in Minsk today due to the second dress rehearsal of the parade - Minsk City Road Police Department informed.

Today, Minsk is to host the second dress rehearsal of the military parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. Minsk City Road Police Department told which streets would be closed, BelTA informs.

Today from 16:50 the traffic of all types of transport will be limited on Osnovateley Street and Starinovskaya Street. From 17:50 the restrictions will come into force on the route Starinovskaya St. - Nezavisimosti Ave. - Masherova Ave.
From 21:50 for the passage of the mechanised convoy will be introduced a phased full restriction on the route: Masherova Ave. - Timiryazeva St. - Saperov St. - Pobediteley Ave. - Orlovskaya St. - Surganova St. - Nezavisimosti Ave.
In order to repeat the rehearsals, the mechanised convoy vehicles will turn right from Surganova St. to Nezavisimosti Ave. and move along the previously arranged route.
At the end of the rehearsals and the parade, the mechanised convoy will return to the military camp ‘Uruchye’ along the route: Masherova Ave. - Timiryazeva St. - Saperov St. - Pobediteley Ave. - Orlovskaya St. - Surganova St. - Nezavisimosti Ave. - Starinovskaya St. - Osnovateley St.
The movement of vehicles and marching personnel will start at 18:40 on the following route: Rogachevskaya St. - Nezavisimosti Ave. – Minsk Ring Road (outer ring) - Pobediteley Ave. - Saperov St. - Timiryazeva St. - Masherova Ave. Then the column will split up and head to the parking places organised on Ignatenko, Tarkhanova, Gvardeyskaya and Griboedova Streets.
The return of vehicles and marching units to the points of permanent location will take place after the completion of rehearsals and the parade along the route: parking places of vehicles - Pobediteley Ave. - Minsk Ring Road (inner ring) - Nezavisimosti Ave. - Rogachevskaya Street.
City Road Police warns that restrictions on stopping and parking of vehicles will be imposed in the training zone and in the surrounding areas.
