Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to UAE

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to President Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates and the country celebrates National Day, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Based on the rich heritage of the country's founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE under your leadership is stepping confidently into the future, strengthening its human potential and role in the region and the world,” the message of greetings reads.
According to the head of state, the results of his recent meeting with the UAE president in Baku convincingly demonstrate that through joint efforts the parties will be able to fully realize the existing potential of cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment sectors and successfully complete a number of joint projects, continue fruitful interaction within the framework of international formats, including BRICS.
“I will be glad to meet with you soon in Abu Dhabi or Minsk to discuss in detail the possibilities of expanding bilateral relations and giving a new impetus to our partnership,” the Belarusian leader added.
Aleksandr Lukashenko has also sent a message of greetings to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai.
“Your country is an example of peaceful and constructive development, balanced and judicious approaches to solving urgent international problems. Thanks to the efforts of the leadership, the UAE has created a comfortable environment for the realization of human potential and effective economic activity. The hard work of the Emirates in the field of advanced technologies, particularly in space exploration, digitalization, artificial intelligence, logistics and infrastructure, inspires sincere respect,” the Belarusian president stressed.
According to the head of state, Belarusian-Emirati relations are characterized by active political dialogue, mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian sectors. “Relying on the principles of equality and respect, the spirit of friendship and partnership, we will be able to achieve important joint results,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
