The Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash and Russia’s Titan have launched the production of unmanned combine harvesters, BelTA learned from the company.

This is an import-substituting Russian-Belarusian project, which is being implemented at the Titan enterprise in Tambov Oblast. Titan GS-10 PRO harvesters meet the needs of agribusinesses with large grain harvesting volumes.

According to the Tambov Oblast government, innovative developments optimize fuel consumption, and a new monitoring system has been implemented to improve logistics chains. “Harvesters will be equipped with a pre-installed parallel driving system to ensure an even pass through the field, avoiding skips and overlaps,” Russian representatives explained. The project is expected to increase the annual volume of the main production to 600 vehicles. Total investments will reach RUB5 billion. The implementation period of the project is five years.

The project on combine harvester production is a result of the agreements reached at the level of the Belarusian president during the visit of the Tambov Oblast government delegation to Minsk last year.
