The Omega Colleagues project, aimed at promoting and popularizing rapeseed oil in Belarus, has brought significant results. This was announced by Igor Grutso, head of the department for coordination of domestic market supplies and foreign trade activities at the Belgospischeprom Concern, according to a Soyuz.by correspondent.

According to Igor Gruzo, over the past few years, the concern has been actively promoting domestic rapeseed oil using various tools, including social advertising, participation in exhibition events and cooperation with online bloggers.

"At the beginning of this year, a large–scale nationwide project "Omega Colleagues" was initiated, which received government support and brought together the efforts of oil producers, retail chains, healthcare professionals and the media," the speaker noted.

The project started on March 17 and includes tastings and presentations at retail facilities where company representatives talk about the benefits and benefits of rapeseed oil. An important element was the expanded product display on store shelves, accompanied by promotional materials.

As a result of the project, it was possible to achieve a threefold increase in shipments of rapeseed oil to retail chains, as well as reduce imports of bottled vegetable oil.

Igor Gruzo stressed that such results were made possible thanks to the combined efforts of various parties and the support of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus.
