The requiem concert "Every Third" is a tribute to the memory of all the victims and heroes of the Great Patriotic War, a story about the fates of ordinary people, a synthesis of widely known musical works of the Soviet period and modern songs about the war and Victory, rare footage from the newsreel, photo documents, historical facts and new updated data from official statistics.
The poetic basis of the concert is "Requiem for Every Fourth" by Anatoly Vertinsky. For a long time it was believed that during the Great Patriotic War the Belarusian land lost every fourth of its inhabitants. However, the data refined over the past few years show that every third person died. This is more than three million civilians and prisoners of war...
The concert will feature musical pieces performed by the most famous artists and creative groups of the Republic of Belarus.
