Belarusian parliament’s new session to open in Minsk on 15 September

The next session of the chambers of the National Assembly of Belarus will open in Minsk on 15 September, BelTA has learned.

The House of Representatives of the eighth convocation aims to review six bills at the first meeting of its fourth session.
In the first reading, lawmakers will consider the draft law “On amending the law of the Republic of Belarus on veterinary activity.” The second reading will feature three bills: “On amending laws on land reclamation,” “On amending the Law of the Republic of Belarus on identification, registration, and traceability of animals (herds), and identification and traceability of products of animal origin,” and “On aquaculture (fish farming).”
MPs plan to consider two bills in a single reading: the draft law “On the ratification of the agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on certain issues of the execution of enforcement documents, where creditors are government bodies and state-funded organizations of the Republic of Belarus,” and “On the ratification of the visa waiver agreement between the government of the Republic of Belarus and the government of the Republic of Ghana for holders of diplomatic and service passports.”
The fifth session of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation is scheduled to open on the same day.
