“The bilateral agenda of the leaders is always extensive. It includes international issues, the protection of the domestic market within the Union State [of Belarus and Russia], a unified industrial policy, and the oil and gas sector. The presidents always have a lot to discuss. It should be noted that today there are no unsolvable problems with the Russian Federation,” the ambassador said.
As BelTA previously reported, Aleksandr Lukashenko will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation on 25-26 September, where he is set to take part in the international forum World Atomic Week and hold a bilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin. “The two leaders will coordinate positions on the most pressing issues of Belarusian-Russian relations and discuss the regional situation and the international agenda,” the Belarusian leader’s press service noted.
