Belarus, Russia’s Bashkortostan plan patriotic school trips to Belarus

At a meeting of the working group on the development of cooperation between Belarus and Bashkortostan in Ufa, director of the agency Kirill Masharsky presented up-to-date information and put forward proposals for the development of cooperation in tourism with the Russian region.

A meeting was held with Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Bashkortostan Svetlana Vereshchagina. The parties lauded the high level of cooperation between the entities of the tourism industry of Belarus and Bashkortostan, the active exchange of best practices at joint and international events, and discussed the organization of trips to Belarus for school patriotic groups by analogy with other regions of Russia.

The parties also welcomed the successful implementation of the project Bashkir-Belarusian Longevity. Tourism. Representatives of the older generation from Bashkortostan, thanks to such cooperation, can come to Belarus for health recuperation holidays on preferential terms. “The meeting also considered other areas of joint work on expanding travel opportunities for Belarusian and Russian citizens to Bashkortostan and Belarus, respectively,” the agency noted.

In addition, the Belarusian National Tourism Agency and the Belarusian Tourism Union, together with Russian colleagues, organized a business matchmaking event in Ufa for travel agencies from Belarus and Russia.
