According to Andrei Kuznetsov, cooperation between the two countries is at the highest level, integration projects are being implemented, the sides are interacting closely and are already working on further joint projects to create Union State goods. In this context, cooperation with enterprises such as BELAZ, MTZ and Gomselmash is being considered, and these issues are already being discussed with Russian partners.

The Minister also identified machine tool building as another priority area. According to him, the Ministry of Industry of Belarus feels the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. This year, a machine tool building holding company has been established in Belarus, separated into a distinct unit, and the sides intend to work together in this direction.
The creation of joint production facilities is also developing actively. Andrei Kuznetsov cited as examples the Bryanskselmash enterprise, established jointly with the Gomselmash holding, the Amkodor-Bryansk and Amkodor-Onego enterprises, as well as a joint venture between MAZ and the Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant.
The organizations of the Ministry of Industry of Belarus have actively engaged in import substitution programmes; however, in the Minister's opinion, these processes should proceed at a faster pace. Andrei Kuznetsov emphasized that a strategic, mutually beneficial bilateral partnership is being built in all areas.
