The head of state will get familiar with the activities of the Minsk Aero Club, located at the Lipki airfield. The president will be briefed on the process of training civil aviation pilots and on DOSAAF’s activities in general. The Minsk Osoaviakhim Flying Club (currently the Minsk DOSAAF Aero Club) was founded in 1934, and in 1939 it was named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union Sergei Gritsevets. From 1964 to the present day, the club’s flight personnel have mastered flying on Mi-1, Mi-2, and Robinson R44 helicopters, as well as Yak-52, An-2, Viper SD-4, and Tecnam P2006T aircraft.
Currently, the Minsk Aero Club carries out tasks related to flight training for cadets of the Military Academy and the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, parachute training for special operations forces of the Armed Forces, and other missions.

In 2017, after the construction of a new training and logistics facility, the flying club relocated from the Borovaya airfield to the Lipki airfield, which is a joint-use airfield for the state aviation emergency rescue institution AVIATION of the Emergencies Ministry and the Minsk DOSAAF Aero Club.

In 2024, the Museum of Aviation Technology and Cosmonautics resumed its operations at the new airfield, featuring 52 exhibits, including 39 aircraft, seven helicopters, two gliders, two reentry capsules, a MiG-23 aircraft simulator, and a ground-based ejection seat trainer for pilots.

In 2025, a sports and patriotic center was built at the airfield, which includes a shooting range, a gorodki playing area, a rope course, a workout zone, a complex of outdoor exercise machines, areas for laser tag, airsoft, paintball, and radio sports, an obstacle course, sports equipment rental point, grilling and field kitchen areas, and a children’s playground.

The training and logistics facility of the Minsk Aero Club is equipped with everything necessary for training flight personnel and sport pilots, as well as for conducting parachute jumps for military personnel and competitive skydivers.
