Seliverstov met with the head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, Sysoyev

A meeting took place at the Moscow office of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center between Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Yuri Seliverstov and the head of the Center, Colonel-General Yevgeny Sysoyev, according to the Telegram channel of the Belarusian Embassy.

The Belarusian diplomat was briefed on the capabilities of the CIS ATC using the example of the results of annual anti-terrorism measures conducted by the security agencies of the CIS member states, including in cooperation with the CSTO and the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure.
Speaking about international cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, Yevgeny Sysoyev positively assessed Belarus's role and announced the planned holding in October of a large-scale Counter-Terrorism Forum in Minsk under the auspices of the CIS ATC and the SCO RATS.
Yuri Seliverstov noted the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and called for, along with contacts between relevant agencies on these issues, the use of political and diplomatic instruments when necessary.
