PHOTOfact: Unveiling the truth: Every Third concert held in Ufa
12:07, 28 October
The Every Third commemorative concert continues its tour across Russian cities, with its latest performance staged at the Bashkortostan State Concert Hall in Ufa. During the Great Patriotic War, Bashkortostan served as a vital stronghold: the republic forged the weapons of victory, supplied the frontline with fuel, equipment, and ammunition, and sheltered evacuated factories and hospitals. Today, Ufa families continue to faithfully preserve the memory of frontline soldiers and home front workers, uncovering forgotten pages of history to pass them down to the younger generation. BelTA set out to discover how this poignant production resonated with the audience, and what deeply connects the peoples of Belarus and Bashkortostan.

The program is poetically rooted in Anatoly Vertinsky’s Requiem for Every Fourth. The project originally premiered on Moscow’s Poklonnaya Hill in May 2024. Later, in April 2025, a series of concerts marking the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory was staged at the Palace of the Republic in Minsk, drawing audiences from across Belarus. In April 2026, the production traveled to Kazan, followed by performances in Saint Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod in September.
