Contest of small business investment projects open in Belarus

The Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs is running a contest of small business investment projects. Winners will get state financial support, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry of Belarus.

Types of state financial support will include a loan (provision of funds on a repayable basis) and property leasing (provision of property on terms of financial lease).
State support is provided on a competitive basis with the mandatory creation of new jobs as part of the project, a business idea in the implementation of investment projects in certain areas. Among them are creation, development, and expansion of production of goods (works and services); organization, development of production, sale of an export-oriented, import-substituting products; production of energy- and resource-saving products; introduction of new technologies (of higher quality characteristics compared to the best analogues available in a given market, a particular market segment, for which this technology is new).
