Restrictions on crossing the border between Belarus and Russia have been lifted since January 11

10:00, 11 January

As reported by the State Customs Committee of Belarus, restrictions on the crossing of the Belarusian-Russian border by trucks carrying international goods under the control of citizens of the CIS, Iran, China and Turkey have been lifted from today. Previously, these cargoes were transported through the stationary checkpoint "Lobok" on the section of the road connection "Yezerishche - Nevel".

The restrictions were lifted due to the entry into force of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Russian Agreement on the mutual recognition of visas and on other issues related to the entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons into the territory of the States parties to the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State.

"The agreement regulates the procedure for foreign citizens and stateless persons to cross the joint border of the states parties to the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State, including its land section, which was previously open only to citizens of Belarus and Russia," the State Customs Committee explained.
